Eduardo L. Piovano (Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina). Ice Ages, Marine Ingressions, and Global Change: Insights from Sedimentary Records of Pampean Lakes.

Eduardo L. Piovano. Expert in lake sedimentology and paleolimnology of natural and artificial aquatic systems as a tool for reconstructing past and present environmental changes. Full profesor of CICTERRA, Cordoba National University and CONICET researcher (Argentina). Author of 4 books and 120 research articles and book chapters.  Given more than 60 conference speaches. Director of 5 PhD Thesis.

Dr. Bernadette Tessier (Université de Caen, France). Tidal rhythmites, a review

Bernadette Tessier. Expert in dynamics and sedimentation of tidal systems. Research director, member of the “Estuary: hydro-sedimentary and geochemical processes” team of the Continental and Coastal Morphodynamics laboratory (M2C – UMR CNRS 6143 – University of Caen Normandy, France). Author of 4 books and more tan 150 articles and book chapters. She has supervised 28 doctoral, Master’s and degree theses.

Christian Betzler (Hamburg University, Germany). The close relationship between carbonate platforms and ocean currents

Christian Betzler. Expert in carbonate sedimentology, sequence stratigraphy and basin analysis. Darwin Professor in Basin Analysis. Scientific head of German Research Fleet Coordination Center Since March 2017. Chief scientist of research cruises in Maldivas and Bahamas. Author of 2 books and 145 research articles and book chapters.  Award for the best Habilitation Thesis of the Science Departments of Frankfurt University and Heisenberg Fellowship of the German Foundation for Scientific Research.
